DescriptionAnother example of the patriotic Pullman Lounge and Club Car Service Menus from World War II (WWII). This 1944 menu cover features an official United States Coast Guard photograph of a "Sub-Buster" patrol boat. Like almost all railroad menus during the war, both the front and back covers have prominent advertisements for "Buy War Bonds and Stamps." The 11M in the date code (BS-11G-11M-D44) tells the reader that 11,000 copies of this menu were printed. It was likely used on many different trains on numerous railroads.
