DescriptionAn extremely unique example of a 1952 Pullman Lounge (Beverage) Service menu. Used on the Missouri Pacific Lines and Texas and Pacific Railway (Railroad) Texas Eagle Streamliner in states that did not allow the service of alcohol (Dry States) this might be considered another "Missing Link" menu. This style of cover was a very common during the tenure of the commissary director L.C. Armfield and was used on many pre-war menus. When Drake (from the same family that started the famous Drake Hotel in Chicago) took over the Pullman Commissary, he still used a few of the stock covers from the previous director. A small spot on the cover does not detract from the overall excellent menu. The items offered are basically fountain and lounge car items. (waterlevel.com item number 6000!)
