Description | A very nice example of a 1961 Buffet menu from Pullman. Printed on the stock cover featuring an older couple happily sitting in their Pullman accommodation. Purchased on eBay in 2013, the extremely knowledgeable seller, who worked for the Milwaukee Road and knew the Pullman Commissary staff in Chicago added this to the description: "This menu was used on the Wabash Detroit - St.Louis over night trains after the Wabash removed the diners. Food service was offered in a bedroom lounge car, usually from the Pennsylvania Railroad and in the Pullman Pool." The passenger printed 7-13-61 in pen on the inside. A very nice piece of Pullman history |
