Like almost all railroad menus during the war, both the front and back covers have prominent advertisements for "Buy War Bonds and Stamps." The 1M in the date code (CAN-125G-1M-D44) tells the reader that only 1,000 copies of this menu were printed. It was for use on a train that traveled in both the United States and Canada.
