Description | Pullman 1960 Pullman Service Beverage Menu from the files of the Pullman Company Commissary in Pennsylvania Station (or Terminal as it was called in Pullman documents). In the late 1950s, the Pennsy changed more for lounge car beverages than Pullman, so they asked that Pullman charge the same price. A new series of menus with the PRR prefix were produced for use on Pennsylvania Railroad Lines and this is a nice example. Found in a folder of menu changes for 1952-1960, the pencil marks were made as a new version of the B-1 series was created. The menu code of PRR-B-1-A-32C-F60 shows that 3200 copies were printed as C is printers shorthand for 100. |
